Over a 30 year career, Boardman has driven value at the intersection of technology, spatial and operational efficiency, and performance. His investments span landmark developments in Times Square; repositioning and re-invigorating a distressed Canyons resort; and the growth and development of a national brand. As Chief Development Officer, Chief Design Officer, and Member of the Equinox Executive Management Committee who developed the leading fitness lifestyle platform in North America. Through innovation and efficiency, he led both development and design to create and execute a billion dollar industry-changing spa, fitness and lifestyle brand. During his tenure, EBITDA grew from $2M to $100M, the number of clubs from 3 locations to 52 in major markets nationally, and the number of employees from 400 to 6,000. Over 11 years, Boardman helped build the real estate and experiential foundation of the business that remains today.

Prior to Equinox, he was directly responsible for senior most leadership, design and marketing of a leading vertically integrated international strategy, planning, architecture, engineering and technology consulting firm HLW International. The firm’s portfolio spanned Media, Broadcast and Entertainment, Technology, Living and Lifestyle sectors, and operated offices in New York, London, Los Angeles, Shanghai, and the Middle East. As Design Partner and President of HLW Ventures, he led the design and documentation of $4B in construction over 8 years.

Prior to HLW, Boardman worked with American Master Charles Gwathmey, executing institutional projects for Cornell University for the Engineering campus and the Cornell Theory Center. Mr. Boardman is accomplished in human factors design and holds 9 Patents/3 Pending in product preference customization, manufactured housing and hospitality environments,
